Garland Wines has been in business for over 27 years offering exclusive wines to the St. Louis region. Their staff has over 100 years of combined wine knowledge to share with you on your wine journey. They purchase wine from all the major regions of the world and have long relationships with these wineries.

With each wine class you will have an opportunity to taste 10-12 wines in an informative but relaxed setting. That is 36 wines total! Their classes are held in their spacious showroom where you will be able to interact and gain knowledge as you taste each wine. They concentrate on the unique qualities of each country, including climate, soil conditions, grape varieties, and wine laws. There is always a story to tell behind each winery!

If you are novice and want to learn more or want to enhance you knowledge then this class series is perfect for you or a friend. There are three classes in each session with each class focusing on a different region of the world.

Seminar Tasting #1:
- October 9 (Italy): Discover where wine originates from!
- October 15 (Argentina): Malbec is founded from two French wines brought to Argentina to create this well-known classic. Altitude, climate, and ocean/desert geographic location creates a strong environment for Argentinian wines to prosper and feature distinct tastes. The highest capital consumption exists in this culture; economic boosts have created much more import and export familiarity.
- October 23 (Sparkling & Champagne): The "wine of romance"! Generally, Champagne refers to the Champagne region in France. Champagne process differs, and it will be discussed. Food and wine pairings have many options with Champagne. Sparkling features dry, sweet, robust, and is made several different ways. Similar to champagne, effervescent bubbles are the key to Sparkling success.

Seminar Tasting #2:
- November 6 (Germany): Germany has a unique wine quality due to the northernmost wine growing region in the world.
- November 13 (California/West Coast): This class will feature varietals, such as Pinot, Cabernet, Merlot, and Chardonnay.
- November 20 (France): The varietals from the November 13th class will be reviewed as it relates to the new geographic regions in France, creating distinctly different wines. Champagne, Burgundy, Bordeaux, and Rhone Valley will be discussed.
