As the name implies, this quaint café serves Cajun and Creole food. The Louisiana Cafe menu includes rich delicacies, such as jambalaya, etouffee and gumbo, andouille sausage and shrimp. Many of the menu items are fried chunks served kebab-style. Samples are gladly given to those potential diners who are unfamiliar with the spicy and delicious foods normally associated with the bayou.
Don't just take their word for it. Here's what Mark H. had to say: "What a gem!! The food here is amazing. If you're in the area and you don't give this place a try you're doing yourself a great disservice. The owner is a fantastic host as well. I've been to many excellent restaurants in Southern Louisiana and this place doesn't take a back seat to any of them. The beignets were fantastic, as was the bread pudding, and the chocolate cake if you're in the mood for desert after dinner."
