If you’ve never tasted G&W Sausage, you may be asking “Why should I
try them?” The answer is simple. They know what they’re doing. G&W
has a been a family owned St. Louis Tradition for over 46 years. Their
Bavarian-style sausage is created from secret recipes brought to the
U.S. by the sons of a Sausage Meister, who was himself the son of a
Sausage Meister. The recipes and processes have been handed down from
father to son for three generations. Over thirty varieties of G&W
Sausages are made onsite, in fact they are closed on Mondays &
Tuesdays to make those sausages. Customers can shop Wednesday -Saturday,
sipping on a free Busch beer even!
Bavarian-style sausage isn’t all G&W offers. Just a few of their
specialty meats include Cajun Andouille, Italian-style Salsiccia, Polish
sausage and hot links, Mexico’s popular Chorizo, and the all-American
favorites: wieners and franks. Brand new this year they are offering 3 varieties of chicken sausages, St. Louis Original, Original with cheese and Cajun.
